Webinar: The Do’s & Dont’s of Tenancy and Sublease Agreements

Our partner, Chinn Yuan, was invited by the real estate firm – Property Hub (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. to conduct an online seminar for their real estate negotiators,  highlighting the Do’s and Dont’s of a Tenancy and Sublease Agreement. The seminar sets out the process flow for a real estate negotiator, starting from the validity of their appointment, points to note when preparing a tenancy/sublease agreement and a study of relevant case laws including land use vs. actual use, imposition of double rent and registration of sublease. Chinn Yuan also covered issues in respect of the sublease of native titles in Sabah.
